Kodo Millet, also known as ditch millet is grown only in India. This was domesticated in India some 3000 years ago and its cultivation is spread across India from Kerala to Tamil Nadu in South to Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal. The grains vary in colour from light red to dark grey, and like most millets, the fibre content is very high. Known as Arikelu in Telugu, these are a storehouse of nutrients.
Sahaja’s Kodo Millets have a low glycaemic index, that release glucose or energy slowly over a long period of time and thus helps in sugar control. These are a very good substitute for polished rice. Sahaja’s Kodo Millets are gluten-free, easy to digest, rich in anti-oxidants, have high dietary fibre and a rich source of Vitamin B6, folic acid and nutrients like calcium, iron, magnesium and zinc.
We offer delivery all over in Hyderabad with a nominal shipping charge of Rs. 50 irrespective of the order value. Usually delivery is attempted within 24-48 working hours, once the order is confirmed.
