Urad Dal originated in India, where it has been in cultivation from ancient times and is one of the most highly prized pulses of India and Pakistan. Urad Dal is used as a major ingredient in the Indian cuisine for preparing a healthy diet. It has protein, fat and carbohydrate which is required by the body. It is also a one of the richest sources of Vitamin B.
Sahaja’s Split Urad has a strong flavour which is creamy white and somewhat bland. When boiled, it has mucilaginous texture and when tempered aromatically it can be used as an accompaniment to the rotis and rice. When ground into flour or paste, it is used extensively in culinary preparations like dosa, idly, vada and papad.
We offer delivery all over in Hyderabad with a nominal shipping charge of Rs. 50 irrespective of the order value. Usually delivery is attempted within 24-48 working hours, once the order is confirmed.
